Course Content:
Courses are divided into modular training sessions which can be tailored to suit client requirements. Module examples would include:
· Fire classifications and causes of fire
· Fire development, flashovers and backdraughts
· Roles and responsibilities of an emergency response team
· Basic recruit firemanship
· Fire extinguisher training practical
· Breathing apparatus training
· Hazardous materials approach and deployment
· Hazardous materials identification and marking systems
· Decontamination procedures
· Radio communications
· Hose management and pump operation
· Foam and foam making equipment
Duration:
Basic Firefighting: 2 Day Course
Breathing Apparatus: 3 Day Initial Course
Modules: 4 Hour Subject Specific Course
